Interface
Normality moves in a smooth wave like poured honey, spilt paint, flowing lava;
A long slow moan of pain of pleasure of life making itself known, till it hits the Interface.
Then: Change.
The edge the boundary the fence the door the cover the window the eye.
Where the rubber meets the road, where land meets sea.
Where the blue sky turns to black of outer space.
Where the ocean becomes air.
When water flows over fishes gill.
When comes Last Breath deprived of oxygen when Life becomes Death.
When the idea moves the pencil rubs the paper.
When the eye sees the lines idea moves from mind to mind:
Interface crossed.
Where silence becomes noise becomes silence becomes sound,
Where silence becomes sound becomes music becomes dreams becomes peace:
Interface crossed.
Where one cell becomes two cells become life.
Where your cheek becomes the corner of your mouth becomes smile.
Where your finger becomes nail.
Where stranger becomes friend becomes lover becomes life.
When two faces join in a kiss two become one.
When I kiss you we becomes one.
The Interface:
My lips on yours my hands in yours my life in yours one life.
Your face in my hands my fingers on your cheek our eyes as one.
When our eyes connect our minds and bodies loose identity:
Oneness. Interface crossed.
When my hand slips to yours skin touches skin.
Energy flows spirits blended no beginning no end;
Oneness. Interface crossed.
Time marks movement across Interface:
When my lips left yours when they returned.
When your face goes out of my view when it reappears.
When the last syllable of my name leaves your voice.
When it’s spoken again.
Time ignores the Event and counts the Nothing.
We live in the Event and ignore the Nothing.
Time is still and fluid and is real and is imaginary.
With no Interface Time marks nothing all is nothing.
Except You and Me.
